Exact and efficient management of products in continuous movement from supplier to costumer is only possible through an effective supply chain management and determining suppliers with appropriate performance criteria. In this study, it was tried to present different perspective to assess the suppliers using a fuzzy TOPSIS model. For this purpose, the suppliers providing a chain store with products and services were assessed. Foundation of the method is calculation of the closeness coefficients by means of fuzzy positive ideal solution and fuzzy negative ideal solution. Alternatives are ranked in accordance with the calculated closeness coefficients. This study showed that fuzzy TOPSIS model could be used to assess and choose suppliers.
Tedarikçiden son kullanıcıya kadar sürekli hareket eden ürünlerin hareketlerinin doğru ve verimli yönetilebilmesi, etkin bir tedarik zinciri yönetimi ve uygun performans kriterleri ile tedarikçilerin belirlenmesi sayesinde mümkün olmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, bir bulanık TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) modeliyle tedarikçileri değerlendirmeye yönelik farklı bir bakış açısı sunulmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu amaçla bir mağazalar zincirine mal ve hizmet sunan tedarikçiler değerlendirilmiştir. Modelin özünde bulanık pozitif ideal çözüm ve bulanık negatif ideal çözüm vasıtasıyla yakınlık katsayılarının hesaplanması yatar. Hesaplanan yakınlık katsayılarına göre alternatifler sıralanır. Çalışma, bulanık TOPSIS modelinin tedarikçilerin değerlendirilmesinde ve seçiminde kullanılabileceğini göstermiştir.
