Obstetride Ayurveda

Abstract

Ayurveda, geleneksel tıp uygulamalarından biri olup, en eski şifa bilimlerinden biridir. Yaşamın bütünlüğünü savunarak kendi yaşamımızda sürdürebileceğimiz bilinçli bir evrenin bilgeliğini verir. Böylece kişinin kendi bünyesine göre bilinç oluşturması, yaşam tarzı değişiklikleri yapması, bu dengeyi sağlaması ve sürdürmesi konusunda rehberlik eder. Ayurveda, gebe kalmanın, gebelik sürecinin ve doğumun birçok farklı boyutu olduğunu ifade etmektedir. Bu nedenle optimal düzeyde bir gebelik için gebelikte risk oluşturacak faktörleri önceden tespit ederek iyileştirici tedbirlerin alınmasını önermektedir. Ayrıca doğum öncesi kapsamlı bir bakımla; beslenme, egzersiz, gebelikte yapılması sakıncalı uygulamalar ve meditasyona ilişkin bilgiler verirken gebelikte değişebilen ruh sağlığı için de terapötik prosedürler uygulamaktadır. Ayurveda doğuma hazırlıklı olma ve güvenli bir doğum ortamı oluşturmayı hedeflemektedir. Doğum sonu komplikasyonları önleme, sindirim, bağışıklığı sağlama ve kadının kaybettiği eski gücü tekrardan kazandırmaya çalışmaktadır. Böylece ayurveda; gebelik, doğum ve doğum sonrası süreçte yüksek kalitede bakım vererek anneler ve bebekler için ortaya çıkabilecek sorunları önlenmede önemli rol üstlenmektedir. Bu derlemenin amacı; ayurvedanın obstetride kullanımına ilişkin bilgi sağlamaktır.

Ayurveda in Obstetrics

Abstract

Ayurveda is one of the traditional medicine practices and one of the oldest healing sciences. Defending the life integrity, it gives wisdom of a concsious universe that we can maintain in our lives. Thus, it guides people to create consciousness according to their structures, to make changes in their life styles, and to balance and maintain it. Ayurveda states that there are great numbers of different phases of becoming pregnant, process of pregnancy, and birth. Therefore, it suggests that some curative precautions should be taken detecting the factors which can pose risks in pregnancy. With a comprehensive antenatal care, it gives information about nutrition, exercise, meditation, and some objectionable practices in pregnancy. İt also carries out some therapeutic procedures for mental health which is changeable in pregnancy. Ayurveda aims a safe birth environment and being ready for the moment of birth. It tries to help women to regain their strength. It tries to provide immunity and digestion and also prevent the complications that may develop after birth. Thus, ayurveda plays an important role in preventing problems that may arise for mothers and babies by providing high-quality care during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period. The purpose of this review is to provide information on the use of ayurveda in obstetrics.
