Göçmenlere ve Sığınmacılara HIV Enfeksiyonunu Önlemeye Yönelik Yapılan Müdahaleler: Sistematik Derleme

Abstract

Bu sistematik derlemenin amacı göçmenlere ve sığınmacılara HIV enfeksiyonunu önlemeye yönelik yapılan müdahalelerin sistematik bir şekilde incelenmesidir. Literatür taraması “PubMed, Scopus, Science Direct ve Google Scholar” veri tabanlarında, “migrant, refugees, reproductive health, HIV, AIDS ve randomized control trial” anahtar kelimeleri kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Bu sistematik derlemeye sırasıyla ABD (2), Tacikistan (1), Çin (1) ve İngiltere (1) olmak üzere toplam 5 çalışma dahil edilmiştir. 4 çalışmanın randomize kontrollü olduğu, 1 çalışmanın ise yarı deneysel çalışma olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bu sistematik derlemenin sonucuna göre göçmen ve sığınmacılara HIV enfeksiyonunu önlemeye yönelik yapılan müdahalelerin HIV ve diğer CYBE hakkında bilgi, HIV testi yaptırma oranı, kontraseptif yöntemler hakkında bilgi, kondom kullanma oranlarını arttırdığı saptanmıştır. Bu nedenle göçmenlerde HIV enfeksiyonun farkındalığını arttırmak, HIV hakkında bilgi düzeylerini yükseltmek, HIV testi yaptırma oranlarını yükseltmek için yapılacak müdahaleler önem taşımaktadır.

Interventions to Prevent HIV Infection with Migrants and Refugees: A Systematic Review

Abstract

The purpose of this systematic review is to systematically examine the interventions for immigrants and asylum seekers to prevent human immunodeficiency virus infection. The literature search was conducted using the keywords “migrant, refugees, reproductive health, HIV, AIDS, and randomized control trial” in the databases of “PubMed, Scopus, Science Direct, and Google Scholar.” A total of five studies were included in this systematic review, respectively, from the USA (two), Tajikistan (one), China (one), and England (one). It was determined that four studies were randomized controlled and one study was a quasi-experimental study. According to the result of this systematic review, it has been determined that the interventions to prevent human immunodeficiency virus infection to immigrants and asylum seekers increase the rate of information about human immunodeficiency virus and other sexually transmitted infections and human immunodeficiency virus testing, information about contraceptive methods, and condom use. For this reason, interventions to increase awareness of human immunodeficiency virus infection among immigrants, to increase their knowledge about human immunodeficiency virus, and to increase the rate of human immunodeficiency virus testing are important.
