                            <p>Nursing education requires diverse teaching strategies to enhance students’ clinical competencies. Skills such as problem-solving, communication, and professional behavior are essential components of the nursing curriculum. Escape room games are one of the effective teaching methods that develop these skills.  This study aimed to examine the effect of escape room experience on nursing students’ problem-solving skills and professional behavior levels. A quasi-experimental pretest-posttest study was conducted between May and June 2024 with 43 senior nursing students. Participants were assigned to an intervention group (n=22) and a control group (n=21). The intervention group participated in an escape room activity following a 5-week training program, while the control group continued with traditional education. Data were collected using the student information form, Game Experience Scale, Problem Solving Inventory, Nursing Students Professional Behavior Scale, and escape room observer checklist.                                                                                                                                     <abstract><p>Hemşirelik eğitimi, öğrencilerin klinik becerilerini geliştirmeye yönelik çeşitli öğretim stratejileri gerektirir. Problem çözme, iletişim ve profesyonel davranışlar gibi beceriler, hemşirelik öğrencilerinin eğitim süreçlerinde önemlidir. Kaçış odası oyunları, bu becerileri geliştiren etkili öğretim yöntemlerinden biridir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, kaçış odası deneyiminin hemşirelik öğrencilerinin problem çözme becerileri ve profesyonel davranış düzeyleri üzerindeki etkisini incelemektir. Bu çalışma Mayıs-Haziran 2024 tarihleri arasında 43 son sınıf hemşirelik öğrencisi ile ön test-son test düzeninde yarı deneysel olarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Öğrenciler, müdahale (n=22) ve kontrol (n=21) gruplarına ayrılmıştır. Müdahale grubuna 5 haftalık eğitim sonrasında kaçış odası uygulanmış, kontrol grubuna geleneksel eğitim devam etmiştir. Veriler, öğrenci bilgi formu, Oyun Deneyimi Ölçeği, Problem Çözme Envanteri, Hemşirelik Öğrencileri Profesyonel Davranış Ölçeği ve kaçış odası gözlemci kontrol listesi kullanılarak toplanmıştır.
