Geleneksel Kültür, Medya Müzeciliği ve YouTube

Abstract

Siberuzamın maddi kültürel unsurların temsili ve sunumu hususunda da yeni fırsatlar

sunduğunu fark eden araştırmacılar bir kültürel pratik olarak müzeciliği,

bir kültürel kurum olarak müzeyi ve bir kültürel etkinlik biçimi olarak müzesel

iletişimi, ‘medya müzeciliği’ kavramı ekseninde yeniden teorize etmiştir. Bahsi

geçen teori özelinde yürütülen çalışmalarda ise genelde fiziksel mekânın imgelemsel

eşleniği olarak algılanan siberuzamın müzelik içeriklere ilişkin kültürel bilgiyi

tanılayıcı, koruyucu ve sergileyici bir yapıya sahip olup olmadığı ve bu kapsamda

müzesel iletişimi mümkün kılabilecek bağlamlar sunup sunmadığı tartışılmıştır.

Günümüzde de sürmekte olan bu türden tartışmalara medya müzeciliğinin geleneksel

kültürlerin temsili ve sunumuna imkân tanıyan çeşitli sosyal medya platformlarının

müzesel bir alan olarak deneyimlenmesini de açımlayabilecek kadar

geniş bir kavramsal kaplama sahip olduğu iddiasıyla müdâhil olunabilir. İşte bu

makalede her an ve her noktadan erişim, hız, çeşitlilik, bilgi odaklılık, etkileşimsellik

ve katılımcılık vadeden yeni medya teknolojileri ve kültürünün başat sembollerinden

biri olan YouTube’un genellikle sözlü ve bedensel folklorik dışavurumlarda

somutlaşan geleneksel kültürlerin arşivlenmesi, temsili ve sunumuna olanak

tanıyan bir müzesel alan olarak nasıl deneyimlendiği disiplinlerarası bir perspektif

özelinde ve sosyolojik, kültürel ve teknolojik boyutlarıyla tartışılmaktadır.
