İnsan güler. Bu basit cümlenin arkasında birçok sorunun gizlendiğini görebiliriz. İnsan neden güler? Gülmek insana has bir eylem midir? Gülmenin nedeni sadece komik olan mıdır? Gülmek nasıl bir davranıştır? Gülmek kişisel bir eylem midir yoksa toplumsallığı da içerir mi? … gibi bir çok soruyu sormamıza neden olmaktadır. Nitekim tarih boyunca gülme konusu her araştırıldığında bu soruların aynı anda cevaplanmaya çalışıldığı görülmektedir.20.yy.’a geldiğimizde de aynı yıllarda iki büyük düşünürün, Bergson ve Freud, bu sorularla birlikte gülme konusu üzerine araştırma yaptıklarını görüyoruz. Gülme ve gülmenin neden olduğu komik üzerine analiz yapan iki düşünürün bu konuyu felsefi, psikolojik ve sosyolojik temelde araştırdığı görülmektedir. Bu çalışma ile Bergson ve Freud özelinde gülmenin bireysel bir hazzın göstergesi mi yoksa toplumsal bir yansıma mı olduğu sorusu açıklanmaya çalışılacaktır.
People laugh. It can be seen that many questions are hidden behind this simple sentence. Why Do People Laugh? Is Laughing unique to humans? Is the reason for laughing just comic? What is it like to laugh? Is laughing a personal act or does it include sociality? ...such as questions are occurred. As a matter of fact, every time the subject of laughter is studied, it is seen that these questions are tried to be answered at the same time.At about the same period in the early 20th century, two great thinkers, Bergson and Freud, conducted research on the issue of laugher with these questions. These two thinkers discussed the issues of comic caused by laughing and laughter from a philosophical, psychological and sociological aspect.In this paper, I will try to explain whether laughter at Bergson and Freud is an indicator of an individual pleasure or a social repercussion.
