Günümüzde etik problemlere ve bu bağlamda insan hakları problemlerinebaktığımızda geçerli etik anlayışın ve bu etik düşüncenin üzerinden üretilen insanhakları anlayışının yetersiz olduğu açık bir biçimde ortadadır. Bu çalışma böylesibir etik düşünce ve insan haklarının neden yetersiz olduğunu ortaya koymaya, budüşüncelerin temelini sorgulamaya çalışmaktadır. Bu çerçevede insanın onurudüşüncesinin temel dayanağının aydınlanma düşüncesi olduğu gösterilecektir.Aydınlanma sürecinde ortaya atılan insan ve onuru düşüncesinin temeli Batı metafiziğiboyunca kendine yer bulmuştur. Bu çalışmada amaç, böylesi bir insan anlayışıylaortaya konan etik ve insan hakları düşüncesini post-modern düşünürlervasıtasıyla eleştirmektir.
It is clear that ethics and human rights based upon ethical thinking areinsufficient to meet humans’ expectations in today’s world when problems regardingethics and human rights are concerned. In this respect, the aim of studyis to investigate the underlying aspects of such ethical thinking and human rightsto present the reasons why such concepts are insufficient to satisfy human needs.Thus, it will be revealed that the idea behind the concept of human dignity is ideaof enlightenment. The idea of humanity and human dignity put forward in theprocess of enlightenment has its roots deep in the Western Metaphysics. The aimof this study is to criticize the ethics and human rights created with such conceptof humanity in mind through the spectacles of post-modern philosophers.
