Discussing technology as a philosophical problem in his wellknownwork entitled The Question Concerning Technology, Heideggerunderstands it, like ancient techne, as a way of revealing. However, whiletechne which is an authentic mode of production, is emancipatory, that ofmodern technology is quite challenging. The age of technology revealsentities as resources in order to transform them into most efficient technologicalproducts. Therefore, Heidegger mainly draws our attention to thedanger arising from this understanding which leads to restriction of ourway of thinking rather than the destruction caused by specific technologies.Heidegger also thinks about the essence of modern technology, concludingthat it is just one way of revealing that can be gone beyond only by artwhich is another way of it.
</trans-abstract>
