Abstract: Al-Wâjibu’l-Wujûd and Wâjibu’l-Wujûd are two very important concepts of Turkish philosopher Ibn Sina’s (Avicenna) metaphysics. But these two concepts have been understood until today as if they were the same and one concept. This little work which I venture to present to the academic public is only on the accurate understanding of the concepts; we shall not discusse here the functions of the concepts in the metaphysics of Avicenna and other related problems.
Avicenna, al-Wâjibu’l-Wujûd, Wâjibu’l-Wujûd, the Necessary Existence, the Necessitating Existence.
