In this article, I discuss an Edip Cansever character, Mister Ruhi in his poem “How Am I Mister Ruhi?” from a Heideggerian point of view. I focus on Mister Ruhi’s relations to the equipments which are ready to his hand and claim that Mister Ruhi does not care the functionality of these equipments and in case of the absence of their functionality, does not go through an experience of nothing in Heidegger’s sense. I try to show that the mood of Mister Ruhi, in his careless attitude, can be understood similar to a Nietzschean amor fati rather than a Heideggerian stimmung
Bu yazıda, Edip Cansever’in “Ben Ruhi Bey Nasılım?”adlı şiirindeki Ruhi Bey karakterinin günlük yaşamında nesnelerle kurduğu ilişkileri Heidegger’in el altındalık kavramı açısından tartışıyorum. Ruhi Bey’in, elinin altındaki aletlerin işe yararlılıklarını önemsemediğini, el altında olmayışlarında da, Heidegger’in hiçlik deneyimi anlamında bir deneyim yaşamadığını, bu umursamaz halinin Heideggerci stimmung değil, Nietzscheci amor fati anlayışına yakın bir hal olarak anlaşılabileceğini öne sürüyorum
