Silikon esaslı Molloplast-B ve Polmetilmetakrilat esaslı Palasiv 62 isimli iki daimi yumuşak astar maddesinin çekme gerilimleri, uzama miktarı, elastiklik modülleri ve sertlikleri gibi bazı fiziksel özellikleri ile polimetilmetakrilat kaide maddesine bağlantı kuvvetleri araştırıldı. İki materyal bu özellikleri açısından birbirinden farklı bulundu Palasiv 62 daha düşük bir çekme gerilimi gösterirken Molloplast-B'nin daha yumuşak olduğu, ancak daha yüksek bir elastiklik modülüne sahip olduğu saptandı. Elde edilen sonuçlar yumuşak astar maddesi seçiminin vakaya göre yapılması gerekliliğini ortaya koydu.
Comparison of Tensile Strength Elastic Modules, Elongation And Bond Strength of Two Permanent Soft Denture Lining Materials to Denture Base Resin. Some physical properties, such as tensile strength, elongation, elastic modules, hardness and bond strength with polymethylmethacrylate of two resilient denture liners : the silicon based Molloplast-B and polymethylmethacrylate based Palasiv 62 have been characterized. The two materials differed in ali these properties. Palasiv 62 had a smaller tensile strength while Molloplast-B was softer and had a greater elastic modules. The results obtained showed that soft denture linings should be selected according to the case.
