                                                                                                <abstract><p>Today, ozone therapy, which is used as an alternativemethod in the treatment of many diseases, also helps healthy people to improvetheir performances and rejuvenate the body. In this study, it was aimed toinvestigate the effect of ozone therapy on the performance and health ofathletes with oxygen-ozone mixture and major autohemotherapy method. It isthought that the results to be obtained will contribute to increase theperformances of the active sportsmen and contribute to the possible work to bedone. Ozone therapy can be summarized as the application of a certain amount ofozone / oxygen mixture to body cavities or circulatory system. The ozone /oxygen gas mixture may be administered intravenously, intramuscularly,intraarticularly, intrapleurally, intrarectally and intradiscally as well astopically. The most common form of ozone administration is the majorautohemotherapy.</p></abstract>

                            <p>Günümüzde birçokhastalığın tedavisinde alternatif yöntem olarak kullanılan ozon terapisi, aynızamanda sağlıklı insanların performanslarını artırmaya ve vücudu gençleştirmeyede yaramaktadır. Bu araştırmada oksijen-ozon karışımı ile majör otohemoterapi yöntemiile ozon terapinin sporcu performansına ve sağlığına olan etkisinin yapılançalışmalarla araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Elde edilecek sonuçların aktif sporyapan sporcuların performanslarının artırılmasına yönelik fayda sağlayacağı veyapılması muhtemel çalışmalara katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir. Ozon terapibelirli bir miktarda ozon/oksijen karışımının vücut boşluklarına ya da dolaşımsistemine uygulanması olarak özetlenebilir. Ozon/oksijen gaz karışımıintravenöz, intramuskuler, intraartiküler, intraplevral, intrarektal veintradiskal uygulanabildiği gibi topikal de uygulanabilir. En yaygın ozonuygulanma şekli majör otohemoterapidir.</p></trans-abstract>
