Kur’an ve hadis, insan hayatının en dinamik dönemi olan gençliğe dair birçok mesaj sunar. Bu çalışmada, Kur’an-ı Kerim’de gençlik kavramı hadislerde gençliğe bakış ve günümüz gençliğinin dini referanslarla nasıl şekillendirilebileceği ele alınmaktadır. Söz konusu çalışma, gençlik olgusunu Kur’an-ı Kerim’de yer alan ayetler ve Hz. Peygamber’in sünnetinde ifade edilen hadisler çerçevesinde ele alarak, bu iki temel kaynaktan hareketle bütüncül bir değerler sistemi inşa etmeyi hedeflemektedir. Kur’an’da gençlik, örneğin Hz. İbrahim, Hz. Yusuf ve Ashâb-ı Kehf gibi şahsiyetler üzerinden anlatılarak; inanç, cesaret, tevhid mücadelesi ve ahlaki istikamet gibi kavramlarla ilişkilendirilmiştir. Ayrıca geleceğimizin teminatı olan gençliğin manevi krizleri ve değer arayışları bağlamında İslamî referansların yol göstericiliği tartışılmış ve makale sonunda gençliğinin birtakım problemlere düşmemeleri için aile ve gençlere tavsiyelerde bulunulmuştur. Sonuç olarak, Kur’an ve Sünnet ışığında bilinçli bir gençlik inşasının bireysel ve toplumsal açıdan zaruri olduğu ortaya konmuştur.
The Qur’an and the Hadith present numerous messages regarding youth, which is the most dynamic period of human life. This study addresses the concept of youth in the Qur’an, the perspective on youth in the Hadith, and how contemporary youth can be shaped through religious references. It aims to present a framework of values in light of Qur’anic verses and the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) concerning youth. In the Qur’an, youth is depicted through figures such as Prophet Ibrahim, Prophet Yusuf, and the Companions of the Cave, and is associated with concepts such as faith, courage, the struggle for monotheism, and moral integrity. Furthermore, in the context of the spiritual crises and search for values experienced by today’s youth who are considered the guarantors of our future the guiding role of Islamic references is discussed. The article concludes with recommendations for families and young people to help them avoid various problems. In conclusion, it is revealed that building a conscious youth in the light of the Qur’an and the Sunnah is essential both individually and socially.
