Twenty Streptococcus faecalis were isolated from the sample of white cheese which had been obtained from different dairies. In the study of iodometric test method 2 of 20 Streptococcus faecalis were negative beta-lactamase. Later, the presence of beta-lactamase enzyme in 2 beta-lactamase positive Streptococcus faecalis was confirmed by using. Chromogenic Cefalosporin Test (Nitrocefin). Besides, antibiotic sensitive test with Penicilline-G was applied. Two Streptococcus faecalis which were determined beta-lactamase positive by the method of Chromogenic Cefolosporin Test (Nitrocefin) were found to be resistant against Penicillin-G.The result was supported to the test of beta-lactamase.
Çeşitli süt işletmelerinden sağlanan beyaz peynir örneklerinden 20 Streptococcus faecalis izole edilmiştir. İodometrik Test yöntemi ve beta-laktamaz enzimi ile çalışılan 20 Streptococcus faecalis’in 2’si beta-laktamaz pozitif bulunmuş, geriye kalan 18 S. faecalis ise beta-laktamaz negatif çıkmıştır. Daha sonra 2 beta-laktamaz pozitif S. faecalis’in Kromojenik Sefalosporin Test (Nitrosefin) ile beta-laktamaz enzim varlığı kontrol edilmiştir. Ayrıca, penisilin-G ile antibiyotik duyarlık testi yapılmıştır. Kromojenik Sefalosporin Test (Nitrosefin) yöntemiyle de beta-laktamaz pozitif çıkan 2 S. faecalis, penisilin-G’ye karşı dirençli olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu sonuç beta-laktamaz testlerini desteklemiştir.
