Simultaneous determination of oxytetracycline (OTC) and sulphamezathine (SM) in honey with an unknown previous history was performed by using standard addition method and derivative spectrophotometry. Previous separation procedures was not required. The optimum sample size for the analysis was 0.5 g. OTC was determined at 230.5 nm using the 2o derivative while SM was determined at 254.6 nm using 1o derivate. 2o derivate and 370 nm was used for determining the recoveries of OTC added to honey and 1o derivative and 252 nm was used for SM. The recoveries were over %90.
Özgeçmişi bilinmeyen bal örneklerindeki oksitetrasiklin (OTC) ve Sülfamezatin (SM)’in birlikte tayini standart ekleme yönteminden yararlanılarak türev spektrofotometrisi ile yapıldı. Analiz için alınacak bal örneği miktarı 0.5 g olarak saptandı. Yöntem, ön ayırma işlemlerine ihtiyaç duyulmadan uygulanabilmektedir. OTC, 2o türev spektrumunda 230.5 nm de; SM ise 2o türev spektrumunda 254.6 nm de tayin edildi. Bal’a ilave edilen OTC’nin geri kazanma oranı 2o türev spektrumunda 370 nm de, SM in ise 1o türev spektrumunda 252 nm de belirlendi ve %90’ın üzerinde verim elde edildi.
