60 infant food formula samples were collected from the local market in their original packages. 50 of these samples were dry formulas, 10 of them were in conserved food form. All of the samples were examined for Escherichia coli, Bacillus cereus, Staphylococcusaureus, Salmonella spp, and coliform bacteria count. While coliform bacteria were isolated from 15 samples (%25.0) and B. cereus from 2 samples (%3.3), E. coli, S. aureus and Salmonella spp. were not determined from any of the samples. All the positive samples were from the dry formulas group.
Piyasada tüketime sunulan 60 adet mama numunesi incelenmek üzere orijinal ambalajlarında toplandı. Bu numunelerin 50 adedi kuru mama, 10 adedi ise konserve mama formundaydı. Tüm numuneler koliform bakteri sayısı açısından, ayrıca Escherichia coli, Bacillus cereus, Staphylococcus aureus ve Salmonella spp. açısından incelendi. 15 numuneden (% 25.0) koliform bakteri, 2 numuneden (% 3.3) ise B. cereus izole edilirken hiçbir numunede E. coli, S. aureus ve Salmonella spp. bulunamadı. Tüm pozitif numuneler kuru mama grubuna aitti.
