Arz ve kullanım tabloları (AKT’ler) ile girdi çıktı (G-Ç) tabloları ulusal ekonomilerin yapılarının anlaşılabilmesi açısından büyük önem arz etmektedir. Her bir tablo hazırlandıkları ülke ya da bölge ekonomisinin yapısı hakkında önemli bilgiler sunmaktadır. Türkiye ekonomisi için hazırlanan en güncel AKT ve G-Ç’ler 2012 yılına aittir. Bu tablolar içerisinde G-Ç tabloları üründen ürüne (ürün bazlı) hazırlanmış olup, bunların doğrudan sanayileri (sektörleri) ilgilendiren analizler için kullanılması doğru değildir. Bununla birlikte geçen süre zarfında gerek TÜİK gerekse de diğer araştırmacılar tarafından konu hakkında ayrı bir çalışma yapılmamıştır. Aynı zamanda son dönemde yapılan sektörel analizlerin tamamında ürün bazlı G-Ç tablolarının kullanıldığı görülmektedir. Bu çalışmanın motivasyon kaynağı G-Ç tabloları kullanılarak yapılan sektörel analizlerde karşılaşılan bu veri eksikliğinin giderilmesi olup Türkiye ekonomisi için sanayi bazlı bir G-Ç tablosu hazırlanması amaçlanmaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda öncelikle tabloların genel yapısı ve birbirleri ile ilişkileri açıklanmış ve AKT’lerden G-Ç’lerin elde edilmesi sürecinde kullanılan modeller ayrı ayrı tanıtılmıştır. Bu çalışmada sanayi bazlı G-Ç tablosu üretilmesi için kullanılabilecek modellerden birisi seçilerek Türkiye ekonomisi için sanayi (endüstri / sektör) bazlı bir G-Ç tablosu hazırlanmıştır.
Supply and use tables (AKTs) and input-output (I-O) tables are of great importance for understanding the structures of national economies. Each table provides important information about the structure of the economy of the country or region in which they are prepared. The most recent AKT and I-Os for the Turkish economy belong to 2012. Among these tables, I-O tables are prepared from product to product (product-based), and it is not correct to use them for analyzes that directly concern industries (sectors). However, no separate study has been carried out on the subject by both TURKSTAT and other researchers during this time. At the same time, it is seen that product-based I-O tables are used in all of the recent sectoral analyzes. The motivation source of this study is to eliminate this data deficiency encountered in sectoral analyzes using I-O tables, and it is aimed to prepare an industry-based I-O table for the Turkish economy. For this purpose, first of all, the general structure of the tables and their relations with each other were explained, and the models used in the process of obtaining I-Os from AKTs were introduced separately. In this study, an industry (industry / sector) based I-O table was prepared for the Turkish economy by choosing one of the models that can be used to produce an industry-based I-O table.
