Özet
Bu araştırmada, anaokulu müdürleri tarafından yapılan okul denetimlerine ilişkin anaokulu müdürlerinin görüşlerinin neler olduğunun ortaya konulması amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma desenlerinden fenomenoloji deseni kullanılmıştır. Çalışma grubu 7 anaokulu müdüründen oluşmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak görüşme yönteminden yararlanılmış, verilerin analizinde ise içerik analizi kullanılmıştır. Bu çalışmada okul müdürlerinin rehberlik amaçlı denetim yapmaları gerektiği görüşü öne çıkmıştır. Ayrıca okul müdürlerinin hizmetiçi eğitim çalışmaları ile gelişimlerine katkı sunulması ifade edilmiştir. Okul müdürlerinin sadece kanunları uygulayarak denetim yaptıkları, kişisel olarak katkıda bulunmak istemedikleri, ayrıca denetimlerde öğretmenlerie aralarında yanlış anlaşılmaları önlemek için çekimser kaldıkları anlaşılmaktadır.
Introduction
Supervision is the process of supervising organizations with a legal personality in the public sector in general. The overall objective of the supervision is to determine the stage and status of the organization's objectives and to take the necessary measures to achieve better results. The process of working and doing business with others in order to fulfill the goals of the school can be expressed as school management. The school principal is the person who manages this process in the best way, strives for the effectiveness of the school, aims to improve its employees and conducts activities for this, and provides resources for the development of the school.
Objectives
In this study, it is aimed to reveal what kindergarten principals' views are regarding the inspections made by school principals.
Methods
Qualitative research design was used in this study, which aims to reveal the views of school principals about supervisions. The study group was formed from the participants who experienced the phenomenon and data was obtained through interviews with them. The working group consists of 7 kindergarten principals working in the city center of Tokat between 2018-2019.Semi-structured interview form was created by making interviews with the principals. Efforts were made to make the questions prepared in the interview form open-ended. With the approval of the participants, all of the interviews were recorded on the recording device.
Discussion
What are the responsibilities of school principals regarding teacher control? ” opinions about; they focused on the need for supervision to be developed, improved and guided. They say that the supervision responsibilities are mostly fulfilled according to the limitations set by the regulations. Nearly all school principals expressed their opinions about the need for in-service education. In the answers given to this question regarding the supervision of school principals, it was seen that they gave opinions on what should be done more than what was done.
Results
Placing and teaching undergraduate level lesson about teacher supervision may increase awareness. Support can be given to school administrators to pursue a master's degree in education management and supervision.
