The aim of this study was to develop an achievement test consisting of multiple – choice questions related to the corrosion chemistry courses taught in the various departments of universities. The achievement test prepared in order to carry out the validity and reliability studies was administered to 110 students who had taken the corrosion chemistry course before at Gazi University, Ankara and Selçuk University, Konya in 2014 – 2015 educational years. The opinions of two field experts in chemistry and one field expert in Turkish were taken into consideration in order to ensure the validity of the achievement test and then the questions were subject to item analysis. The Cronbach Alpha reliability value of the achievement test was found to be 0,76. Ultimately, an achievement test consisting of 20 questions was developed as a result of the validity and reliability studies.
Bu çalışmanın amacı, üniversite de çeşitli bölümlerinde okutulan korozyon kimyası ile ilgili çoktan seçmeli sorulardan oluşan bir başarı testi geliştirmektir. Güvenirlik ve geçerlilik çalışmalarını yapmak amacıyla hazırlanan başarı testi, 2014-2015 eğitim-öğretim yılı bahar döneminde, Ankara Gazi Üniversitesi ve Konya Selçuk Üniversitesinde korozyon kimyası dersi almış 110 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Başarı testinin geçerliliğini sağlamak için, önce alanında uzman iki kimya eğitimcisi ve alanında uzman bir Türkçe eğitimcisinden görüş alınmış ve sorular madde analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Başarı testinin güvenirliliği Cronbach Alpha 0,76 olarak bulunmuştur. Güvenirlik ve geçerlilik çalışmalarının sonunda 20 maddeden oluşan bir başarı testi geliştirilmiştir.
