This article aims to highlight the role of documentaries on the visibility of women’s labour. It has thus been shown that documentaries of Turkish cinema after the 2000s have a positive influence on the visibility of women’s labour. Therefore, it examined the causes and reasons of the invisibility of women’s labour based on the concept of gender and patriarchy. In this context, we argue that documentaries can be a tool that helps increase the visibility of women’s work. We have chosen the documentary to study for this question because it allows us to create a consciousness through its relation to reality and through its responsibility to society. Finally, in order to pursue the aim of this article, we conduct a discourse analysis of the documentary Külkedisi Değiliz! (Çelebi, 2014). We stress consequently that this film made a contribution to the visibility of women’s work through its language.
L’objectif de cet article est de mettre en évidence le rôle des documentaires sur la visibilité du travail des femmes. Il a été ainsi montre que les documentaires du cinéma de Turquie après les années 2000 a une influence positive sur la visibilité du travail des femmes. Ensuite, en s’appuyant sur le concept de genre et patriarcat, il a été examiné les causes et les raisons de l’invisibilité du travail des femmes. Dans ce cadre, nous constatons que les documentaires peuvent être un outil qui contribue à accroître la visibilité du travail des femmes. Nous avons choisi le documentaire pour étudier cette question puisqu’il nous permet de créer une conscience grâce à son relation a la réalité et grâce à sa responsabilité a la société. Enfin, pour concrétiser le but de cet article, nous avons réalisé une analyse de discours du documentaire Külkedisi Değiliz!( Çelebi, 2014) . Nous avons ainsi pu constater que ce film a fait une contribution à la visibilité du travail des femmes avec son langage qu’il a produit.
Bu çalışmada belgesel sinemanın kadın emeğinin görünür kılınması konusundaki rolü ortaya konulmuştur. Buradan hareketle 2000 sonrası Türkiye Sinemasında belgesel filmlerin kadın emeğinin görünür kılınmasına olan katkısı ifade edilmiştir. Ataerkil yapı, toplumsal cinsiyet kavramlarına değinilerek kadın emeği farklı bağlamlarla ele alınmış ve kadın emeğinin neden görünmez olduğu ile bunun altında yatan sebeplerin neler olduğu incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın amacı doğrultusunda ulaşılan sonuç; belgesel sinemanın kadınların emeklerinin görünmezliği normunu değiştirebileceği, kadın emeğini görünür kılabilecek güçlü bir araç olabileceğini gösterdiğini söyleyebiliriz. Özellikle belgesel sinemanın tercih edilmesi ise; belgesel sinemanın gerçek ile olan ilişkisi ve topluma karşı olan sorumluluğundan dolayı farkındalık yaratabilecek uygun ve güçlü bir araç olarak karşımızda yer almasıdır. Çalışmanın amacını somutlaştırmak adına, son olarak, gündelikçi kadınların hayatını konu alan Emel Çelebi’nin yönettiği Külkedisi Değiliz!(2014) adlı belgesel film örneklem olarak alınarak Gözlemci Belgesel türü dikkate alınarak ve söylem analiz yönteminden yararlanılarak incelenmiştir. Böylece filmin ürettiği ve oluşturduğu dil üzerinden kadınların emeğinin görünür olduğu gösterilmiştir.
