                                                                                                <abstract><p>Bilim kurgu anlatıları başka bir zamanda ya da başka bir gezegende bir evren tasvir ederken mevcut gerçeklikten beslenen kurmaca metinlerdir. Üretildikleri dönemin koşulları, kaygıları, beklentilerinden yola çıkarak geleceğe yönelik olasılıklar, alternatifler sunarlar. Suzanne Collins’in roman serisinden uyarlanan Açlık Oyunları, korku ve gösteriye dayalı bir tiranlıkta gıda krizi, ayrıcalıklı sınıfların iktidarını korumak için ölüme gönderilen alt sınıflar, sosyo-ekonomik adaletsizlik gibi pek çok günümüz küresel sorununu ele alan bir bilim kurgu anlatısıdır. İktidara hizmet eden teknolojinin ve sınıflar arasındaki adaletsizliğin yaratacağı toplumu distopyan bir perspektiften ele alan Açlık Oyunları’nda barbarlık ve medeniyet kavramları tartışmaya açılarak çözümün sistemle pazarlık etmek değil tiranların bertaraf edilmesi ve sömürüye dayalı sistemin ortadan kaldırılması olduğu vurgulanmıştır. Çalışmada Açlık Oyunları serisi gösteri toplumu, gözetim, adalet ve isyan kavramları çerçevesinde incelenmiştir.</p></abstract>

                            <p>Les récits de science-fiction sont des textes fictifs qui se nourrissent de la réalité existante lorsqu’ils représentent un univers qui existe à un autre moment ou sur une autre planète. En fonction des conditions, des préoccupations et des attentes de l’époque de leurs productions, ils offrent des possibilités et des alternatives pour l’avenir. Adapté de la série de romans de Suzanne Collins, The Hunger Games est un récit de science-fiction abordant de nombreux problèmes mondiaux contemporains tels que la crise alimentaire, les sous-classes envoyées à mort pour protéger le pouvoir de classes privilégiées, l’injustice socio-économique dans une tyrannie basée sur la peur et spectacle. Face à la société créée par l’injustice de classe et la technologie au service du pouvoir dans une perspective dystopique, les concepts de barbarie et de civilisation sont remis en cause dans les Hunger Games. À travers cette discussion, il est souligné que la solution n’est pas de négocier avec le système mais d’éliminer les tyrans et d’abolir le système basé sur l’exploitation. Dans cette étude, la série The Hunger Games est examinée dans le cadre des concepts de société du spectacle, de surveillance, de justice et de révolte.</p></trans-abstract>

                            <p>Science fiction narratives are fictional texts that feed on the existing reality while depicting a universe at another time or on another planet. Based on the conditions, concerns, and expectations of the era they were produced, they offer possibilities, and alternatives for the future. Adapted from Suzanne Collins’ novel series, The Hunger Games is a sci-fi narrative addressing many contemporary global problems such as the food crisis, subclasses sent to death to protect the power of privileged classes, socio-economic injustice in a tyranny based on fear, and spectacle. In The Hunger Games, dealing with the society created by the class injustice, and technology serving the power from a dystopian perspective, the concepts of barbarism, and civilization are brought into question. Through this discussion, it is emphasized that the solution was not to negotiate with the system but to eliminate tyrants, and abolish the exploitation based system. In this study, The Hunger Games series is examined within the framework of the concepts of spectacle society, surveillance, justice, and revolt.</p></trans-abstract>
