Abstract
Şanlıurfa İli Harran Ovasında pamuk üretimi yapan tarım işletmelerinde yapılan bu çalışmada işletmelerin sosyo ekonomik yapısı, arazi ve makine varlığı üzerinde durulmuştur. İncelenen işletmelerde hayvancılığın olmadığı ve tarımsal faaliyetin tamamının tarla bitkilerinden oluştuğu, pamuğun yanı sıra mısır ve buğdayın tarımsal üretim deseninde yer aldığı görülmüştür. İşletmelerin %6,52’sinin pamuk hasat makinesine, tamamının ise traktöre sahip olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca makineli hasat ve ortak makine kullanımına yönelik çiftçi eğilimleri incelenmiştir. Ortak makine kullanımı ile ilgili çiftçilerin benimsemediği ve benimsediği modeller belirlenmiştir. Üreticilerin bir araya gelerek ortak makine satım almaları ortak makine kullanımı için benimsenen bir model olmuştur.
Abstract
In this study the socio-economic structure of agricultural holdings, the presence of machine and cotton production lands in Sanliurfa Harran Plain are determined. There is no animal
husbandry in these agricultural holdings and agricultural activity mainly consists of production of field crops including cotton, corn and wheat. 6.52 percent of the enterprises has cotton harvesting machine and all of the studied enterprises have the tractors. Trends in machine harvesting and multi-farm use of machines were also examined. The approved and non-approved models by the farmers for the multi-farm use of machinery were determined. The most appropriate model for the muti-farm use of machinery was determined as to be the common purchase and co-ownership of the machine in the Harran Region.
