Süt İneklerinde Leptin Düzeyine Etki Eden Bazı Faktörler

Abstract



Leptin bir obese (leptin; ob/LEP) gen ürünü olup, başta adipoz doku
olmak üzere çeşitli dokulardan salgılanan bir hormondur. Leptinin enerji
metobolizmasının düzenlenmesinde önemli bir rol oynadığı ve ruminantlarda kuru
madde tüketimindeki rolü nedeniyle hayvansal üretim bakımından önemli
fonksiyonlara sahip olduğu bilinmektedir. Buna rağmen ruminant türlerinde leptin
hakkındaki bilgiler oldukça azdır ve bu hormon hakkındaki mevcut bilgilerin
çoğu insan ve kemirgenlerden elde edilmiştir. Leptin konsantrasyonu yetersiz
besleme koşullarında β-agonist enjekte edilmesi durumunda azalma
göstermektedir. Plazma leptin konsantrasyonu vücut kondüsyonu,  pozitif enerji dengesi veya yeterli besleme
düzeyi ile pozitif ilişkilidir. Plazma leptin konsantrasyonu aynı zamanda tür,
ırk, gebelik, laktasyon, genotip ve çevresel koşullara bağlıdır. Son yıllarda
leptin genindeki polimorfizmlerin de plazma leptin konsantrasyonu üzerinde
etkili olduğu düşünülmektedir. Bu çalışmada yetişkin ruminatların adipoz
dokularında ve meme bezlerindeki leptin gen ekpresyonunda ve
özellikle plazma leptin konsantrasyonlarında
değişikliklere etki
eden faktörler değerlendirmektedir.
