Morphometrical analyses showed that A. amphibius populations in western part of Turkey are highly differentiated as Anatolian and Thrace populations. Depend on morphometrical differentiation, we conclude that these two populations, classified within two subspecies; Arvicola amphibius persicus and Arvicola amphibius cerncavskii respectively.</p>
