                                                                                                <abstract><p>Buçalışmada, BRICS-T ülkelerinin ekonomik ve demografik verileri kullanılarakregresyon analizi ile kömür tüketimlerinin tahminine yönelik istatistikselmodeller geliştirilmiştir. Geliştirilen modellerin istatistiksel doğruluğu vetahmin performansları, çeşitli yaklaşımlar vasıtasıyla test edilmiştir. Bununyanı sıra, geliştirilen modellerde ilgili ülkelerin kömür tüketiminiistatistiksel olarak etkileyen en önemli değişkenler de tespit edilmiştir. Modellemeçalışmalarına ek olarak, BRICS-T ülkelerine ve bu gruptaki ülkelerin enerjigörünümlerine yönelik bir değerlendirmede sunulmuştur. Çalışma sonuçları,BRICS-T ülkelerinin küresel enerji denkleminde hatırı sayılır bir yerdeolduğunu ve bu ülkelerin çok yakın bir gelecekte dünya ekonomisine yön verecekbir pozisyona geleceğini göstermiştir. Sonuçlar ayrıca, geliştirilen/önerilenmodellerin güçlü bir uygulanabilirlik potansiyellerinin olduğunu da ortayakoymuştur.</p></abstract>
