Abstract
This article analyzes the studies with the title of adaptation of foreigners under temporary protection in Turkey with public institutions and evaluates the current situation of adaptation. This temporary protection of foreigners is based on the legal status and adaptation terminology within the scope of Law No. 6458 on Foreigners and International Protection. The studies conducted in Turkey are mentioned in areas such as educational institutions, health institutions and other public institutions which are of great importance in terms of foreigners' adaptation. The purpose of this study is to discover the activities that are carried out for the adaptation of temporary protection holders with the public institutions of our country after the migration movements. This article also aims to demonstrate the extent of adaptation in the existing system and to discover what needs to be done in addition. The method of the article is a survey method which is one of the data collection types in social sciences. A total of 122 temporary protection holders were surveyed in order to measure their adaptation with institutions in Turkey. The effect of being a foreigner in foreigners' adaptation problem with public institutions was analyzed according to survey results. Finally, it is concluded that the temporary protected people, who are legally permitted to stay, have no problems with educational institutions, health institutions and other public institutions and can carry out their work without any problems.
