Peer Review Process

1-Pre-Assessment: The manuscript submitted to the journal undergoes a pre-assessment process. In this process; The compliance of the submitted work with both the writing principles, the Ithenticate Analysis (Studies with a similarity rate of 15% and below) table, and the ethics committee report are examined. Then, the works that pass the pre-evaluation process are taken into the editorial process.

2- Editor-Field Editor Process: Author(s) can oppose the reviewers’ negative opinions if they can show any evidence. This objection is analyzed and if it is thought necessary a different reviewers’ opinion is taken.

3-Peer Review Process: All manuscripts submitted for publication will undergo rigorous peer review, based on an initial editor screening (format of the manuscript, originality of the study, the language used) and then a blind review process by at least two anonymous reviewers. If it is necessary the study could be analyzed by more than two referees.

4-Author(s) can oppose the reviewers’ negative opinions if they can show any evidence. This objection is analyzed and if it is thought necessary a different reviewers’ opinion is taken.

5-The author has to follow the adjustment suggestions or the publication of the manuscripts. Author(s) has to take into consideration of the reviewers.

6-Publication Secretary Process: During the last stage of the publication process, the page layout of the study is made and it is taken into a queue for publication.

Important Note: Manuscripts are submitted directly to the arbitration committee without making any change on the manuscript written by the author. There should be no information about the author in order to provide the author-referee secrecy.
