Dear Colleagues,

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture started its scientific publication entitled “International Journal of Engineering, Design and Technology” (IJEDT) in 2019 under the TUBITAK ULAKBIM DergiPark platform which is the hosting platform for the electronic media and editorial process management services. The journal is published at https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/pub/ijedt.

On behalf of our new editorial board, I would like to thanks to former Editor Prof. Dr. Latif Gürkan KAYA and Editorial Board Members (for the period of 2018-2020), all faculty members of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, which contributed to the execution of the publishing activities between 2018-2020, all my colleagues in charge of carrying out the journal studies, the authors who submitted their work to our journal for publication, and our referees who meticulously evaluated these studies.

I wholeheartedly believe that we will take our journal “International Journal of Engineering, Design and Technology”, which we took over in order to continue its publication activities in 2021-2022, further with your contribution and support. Together with our Editorial Board members, we will continue our efforts to be indexed in more national and international databases and indexes and to increase the international recognition of the journal this year and next year.

I invite you to submit your research and compilation works that you will prepare in the fields of engineering, technology, architecture, planning and design to our journal for evaluation.
