                                                                                                <abstract><p>Fritillaria bercemiae Sonay &amp;amp; Balos (Liliaceae) is described as a new species from Diyarbakır province in the Southeastern Anatolia region of Türkiye. Morphologically, it is closely related toF. behcetiana; however, it differs significantly in several diagnostic characters, including leaf morphology, perigone coloration and tepal morphologynorth, as well as pistil and anther morphology. A comprehensive description of the species is provided, along with a comparative table of morphological characters, detailed illustrations, and an assessment of its IUCN conservation status.</p></abstract>
