This study aims to examine the intangible cultural heritage elements of the texts and visuals in the course and workbooks implemented with the approval of the Ministry of National Education in the 2018 life studies curriculum and the 2018-2021 academic year. Document analysis was used in the research. The books that were decided to be used as first, second and third-grade life studies course and workbooks in the 2020-2021 academic year and the 2018 life studies curriculum outcomes were examined. As a result of the research; When the first and second-grade acquisitions are considered, it is seen that only two acquisitions and only one acquisition for the third-grade have explanations that intangible cultural heritage can be acquired. While folklore, social practices, and performing arts are included in the texts and visuals in the textbooks and workbooks prepared for the first grade, there are texts and visuals for handicrafts and oral expressions prepared for the second grade. However, in the third grade, there is little place for text or visuals related to intangible cultural heritage, but there are folklore, oral expressions and social practices.
