The aim of this research is to examine the relationship between valuepreferences and life satisfaction of primary schools teachers. The research wasconducted in accordance with the correlational model. The universe of theresearch is teachers who work in state and private schools in the province ofIstanbul Anatolia region. The sample consists of 305 class teachers who work in17 schools selected by randomized cluster sampling method in this class.  A survey for personal information was used inthe study, the “Schwartz Value Scale” for value preferences and the “Life SatisfactionScale”. As a result of the analyses, it was determined that there is asignificant positive correlation between the value preferences and lifesatisfaction scores of the class teachers for all the sub-dimensions (rmin=.119; p<,05 / rmax=.208;p<,001). As life satisfaction scores increased, scores of all subscalesof the Schwartz value scale were found to increase. On the other hand, it wasalso found that there were significant differences in terms of demographicvariables such as gender and branch for the total scores of life satisfactionscale scores and also some subscales scores of the Schwartz value scale of theclass teachers.
