                                                                                                <abstract><p>Turizm sektörünün önemli bir dalı olan kruvaziyer turizmi, ülkelerin sosyal ve ekonomik gelişiminde büyük bir yer tutmaktadır. Kruvaziyer turizmine katılan kişi sayısının dünyada 2019’da 30 milyonu geçeceği öngörülmektedir. Gelecek yıllarda artacak rekabet ile baş etmek için, sosyal medya odaklı pazarlama stratejileri de geliştirmek kaçınılmaz olmuştur. Bu çalışmada kruvaziyer turizminin dünyada geldiği nokta incelenmiş, ülkemizdeki kruvaziyer turizm potansiyeli araştırılmıştır. Kruvaziyer sektörü çalışanları ve ilgili akademisyenlerle, 2019 yılı Haziran ve Aralık aylarında yarı yapılandırılmış mülakat yöntemi kullanılarak yapılan görüşmeler önemli bulgular elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular sonuç bölümünde değerlendirilmiş ve birtakım öneriler geliştirilmiştir. Çalışmanın sektöre ve alan yazına katkı sağlaması beklenmektedir</p></abstract>

                            <p>Cruise tourism, an important branch of the tourism sector, occupies a major place in the social and economic development of countries. It is estimated that the number of consumers engaged in cruise tour-ism will exceed 30 million in 2019 in the world. In order to cope with the competition that will increase in the coming years, it has been inevitable to develop social media-oriented marketing strategies as well. In this study, the point of cruise tourism in the world will be examined and the potential of cruise tourism in our country will be investigated. Significant findings were obtained in the interviews held with the employees of the cruise sector and the relevant academicians using the semi-structured interview method in June and December 2019. The findings were evaluated in the conclusion and some suggestions were developed.
