<p>The aim of this study is to examine the teaching skills orientations of classroom teachers in terms of certain variables (such as gender, graduated Department, seniority, education status). The population of research consists of classroom teachers working in Bornova District of Izmir Province. The sample of the study consists of 299 classroom teachers. The research model is a screening research model, and the relationship between this model and the orientations of classroom teachers &#039; teaching skills and the variables determined within the scope of the purpose of the research was discussed. The Personal Data Form and Teaching Skills Scale (TSS) were used as the data collection tool of the research. SPSS 17.0 Package Program was used in the analysis of the data obtained in the study. As an identifier for categorical data, frequencies and percentages, continuous data for minimum, maximum, average and standard deviation; providing conditions for changes parametric Independent Group t-test and comparison of more than two groups one way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used. It is believed that the research will provide an inlay to the field of Educational Sciences, shedding light on new research and related applications.</p></trans-abstract>
