Today, natural disasters and earthquakes, which are increasing and even intensifying, contribute to the increase of individual and social awareness, while at the same time, they have brought along the condition of multidisciplinary readiness for an effective and timely response to an earthquake. Natural disasters, which cause serious physical and mental destruction in society, negatively affect the elderly, children and women. Because individuals' reaction to and exposure to experiences and situations are different from each other. Reproductive health needs are ignored due to health and survival efforts, which are mostly focused on in disaster situations. Thus, women whose health is deteriorating gradually affect the health of the family and society negatively and deepen the problems. Competence and competence in disaster response, interdisciplinary coordinated cooperation are important to in the early healing of wounds. The aim of this review article is to see the current situation after the great earthquake and to emphasize that reproductive health is so important to be ignored
Günümüzde artarak hatta şiddetlenerek meydana gelen doğal afetler bireysel ve toplumsal farkındalığın artmasına katkı sağlarken aynı zamanda doğru, zamanında etkin müdahale için multidisipliner hazır oluşluk koşulunu da beraberinde getirmiştir. Toplumda hem fiziksel hem de ruhsal ciddi yıkımlara neden olan doğal afetler, yaşlılar, çocuklar ve kadınları olumsuz etkileyerek zarar verir. Çünkü bireylerin yaşananlara ve maruz kaldıkları durumlara verdikleri tepki ve etkilenme düzeyleri birbirlerinden farklıdır. Afet müdahale basamaklarında öncelik sağlıklı ve hayatta tutmaya yöneliktir. Afet durumlarında çoğunlukla odağa alınan sağlık ve hayatta tutma çalışmaları nedeniyle üreme sağlığı gereksinimleri göz ardı edilmektedir. Böylece sağlığı giderek bozulan kadınlar aile ve toplumun sağlığını da olumsuz etkilemekte ve sorunları derinleştirmektedir. Afete müdahalede yetkinlik ve yeterlilik, disiplinler arası koordineli iş birliği, yaraların erken sarılmasında önemlidir. Bu derleme makalede amaç yaşanan büyük depremin ardından mevcut durumu görebilmek ve üreme sağlığının göz ardı edilemeyecek kadar önemli olduğunu vurgulamaktır.
