The present studyaimed to determine the values included in the cartoon called "RafadanTayfa", one of the cartoons prepared and broadcast on TRT Cocuk, thenational channel of Turkey, within the framework of certain acquisitions andthemes according to age levels of children and mostly loved by the studentsparticipating in the study. In the direction of this purpose, 282 primary firstand second grade students (144 female, 138 male) were given the names of theTurkish-made cartoons prepared on TRT Cocuk channel for 6-8-yer-old children inwritten and asked to mark the cartoon which they liked most. The first 40episodes of the cartoon named as "Rafadan Tayfa" determined as themost-liked according to the students' preferences tried to be examined viausing the document analysis, one of the qualitative research methods, in thedirection of the values included in the Social Studies Program. In conclusion,it was determined that the values mentioned most frequently in the investigatedepisodes were "Helpfulness", "Solidarity" and "BeingScientific" and the least frequently mentioned ones were"Honesty", "Hospitality", "Tolerance","Aesthetics" and "Patriotism"
Bu araştırmanın amacı Türkiye’nin ulusal kanalı olanTRT Çocuk’ ta çocukların yaş düzeylerine göre, belirli kazanım ve temalarçerçevesinde hazırlanarak yayınlanan çizgi filmlerden biri olan ve araştırmayakatılan öğrenciler tarafından en çok sevilen “Rafadan Tayfa” adlı çizgi filmdeyer alan değerlerin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda ilkokulbirinci ve ikinci sınıf öğrencisi olan 282 öğrenciye (144 kız, 138 erkek) TRTÇocuk kanalında 6-8 yaş aralığı için hazırlanmış olan Türk yapımı çizgifilmlerin adları yazılı olarak verilmiş ve en çok sevdikleri çizgi filmiişaretlemeleri istenmiştir. Tercihleri doğrultusunda ilk sırada belirlenen“Rafadan Tayfa” adlı çizgi filmin ilk 40 bölümü nitel araştırma yöntemlerindendoküman analizi ile Hayat Bilgisi Programı’nda yer alan değerler doğrultusundaincelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Sonuç olarak incelenen bölümlerde en çok yer alandeğerlerin sırasıyla “Yardımseverlik”, “Dayanışma” ve “Bilimsellik” olduğu, enaz yer alan değerlerin ise “Dürüstlük”, “Misafirperverlik”, “Hoşgörü” “Estetik”ve “Vatanseverlik” olduğu belirlenmiştir.
