                            <p>The importance of the internetand virtual platform in human life gradually has been increasing with the helpof improving technology. It has been thought that this subject should be dealtwith; because inappropriate use of the internet and computer games can turninto the risk of addiction. The psychological needs of teenagers which predictthe addiction of digital games has been studied in this research. 322 teenagerscomprise the research sample. “Personal Information Form”, “The Scale ofDigital Game Addiction”, “The Scale of Psychological Needs” have been used forgathering data. The multiple regression analysis has been performed to analyzethe data. According to the result of the research, it has been seen that genderand psychological needs [R2=.11, p&amp;lt;.05] predict significantly the addiction ofdigital game. The results of the research have been discussed in the scope ofliterature.</p></trans-abstract>
                                                                                                                                    <abstract><p>Gelişen teknoloji ile birlikte internet ve sanalortamın insanların hayatındaki önemi gitgide artmaktadır. Ergenlik dönemindeuygun olmayan internet kullanımı ve bilgisayar oyunlarının bir süre sonrabağımlılık riskine dönüşebildiği için oyun bağımlılığının ele alınması gerekenbir konu olduğu düşünülmektedir. Bu araştırmada ergenlerin dijital oyunbağımlılıklarını yordayan psikolojik ihtiyaçları incelenmiştir. Araştırmanınörneklemini 322 ergen oluşturmaktadır. Verilerin toplanmasında Kişisel BilgiFormu, Dijital Oyun Bağımlılığı Ölçeği ve Psikolojik İhtiyaçlar Ölçeğikullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde çoklu regresyon analizi yapılmıştır.Araştırma sonucuna göre cinsiyet ve psikolojik ihtiyaçların dijital oyunbağımlılığını [R2=.11, p&amp;lt;.05] anlamlı olarak yordadığı görülmektedir.Araştırma sonuçları literatür kapsamında tartışılmıştır.</p></abstract>
