                                                                                                <abstract><p>Bilgi işlem ajanlarını kullanarak bir problem çözme şekli olan bilgi işlemsel düşünmenin programlama öğrenmeyle gelişebileceği düşünülmektedir. Programlama öğretiminin de çoğunlukla gerçek yaşam bağlamından uzak şekilde yapılması öğrencilerin öğrenmesini olumsuz etkilemektedir. Bu çalışmada otantik öğrenme etkinlikleriyle tasarlanan programlamaya giriş dersinin öğrencilerin bilgi işlemsel düşünme ve programlama öz-yeterlik inançlarına etkisi incelenmiştir. Bu çalışma nicel ve nitel verilerin birlikte kullanıldığı karma yöntem araştırmasıdır. Çalışma grubu bir devlet üniversitesi, meslek yüksekokulu, bilgisayar teknolojileri bölümünde öğrenim gören 17 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Çalışma öncesinde ve sonrasında öğrenciler bilgi işlemsel düşünme ölçeği ve programlama öz-yeterlik inançları ölçeğini doldurmuşlarıdır. Çalışmanın sonunda öğrencilerin bilgi işlemsel düşünme ve programlama öz-yeterlilik gelişimlerini değerlendirmek için öğrencilerle görüşme yapılmıştır. Bulgular otantik programlama etkinliklerinin yaratıcılık, algoritmik düşünme, eleştirel düşünme ve bilgi işlemsel düşünme genel düzeylerini anlamlı şekilde geliştirdiğini göstermiştir. Öğrencilerin bilgi işlemsel düşünmenin problem çözme ve işbirliklilik gibi bazı alt faktörlerinde anlamlı gelişmeler olmamıştır. Öğrenciler bilgi işlemsel düşünme becerilerinin gelişimini ilgi çekici etkinlikler yapılması, sürekli destek, günlük yaşam problemleri ile çalışma, kodlama öğrenme ile ilişkilendirmiştir. Öğrencilerin programlama öz-yeterlilik inançlarının anlamlı şekilde geliştiği ortaya çıkmıştır. Gelecekteki araştırmalarda farklı eğitim seviyelerinde ve daha geniş örneklemlerle çalışılabilir. Öğrencilerin evde tekrar yapmalarını teşvik edecek farklı etkinlikler planlanabilir. Diğer taraftan bazı öğrencilerin grup içindeki performans farklılıklarından olumsuz etkilendiği ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu çerçevede öğrenciler her hafta gruplar arasında çaprazlanarak farklı öğrencilerle çalışma fırsatı bulabilir.</p></abstract>
