Abstract
Residential location choice constitutes a complex decision-making process intricately intertwined with land use and transportation systems, fostering a sophisticated structure that opens way for the accumulation of rich multidisciplinary knowledge. The main purpose of this study is to create a reference document to guide researchers on "housing location selection", which has a wide perspective from urban and transportation planning to behavioral sciences, from economy to environment by mapping through bibliographic analysis based on basic criterias such as country, author, publication and citation.
The study, utilizing the "Web of Science Core Collection" database, accessed 320 publications through a search employing the keywords "residential location choice." Descriptive analyses of publications (type, distribution over years, research areas, micro and meso-scale subject headings, country distribution) were conducted using the same database. For bibliometric analysis, VOSviewer software was employed to create and visualize bibliometric networks. The analyses conducted with VOSviewer encompass co-authorship, citation, and co-occurrence, categorized into three parts: co-authorship analysis focusing on authors, co-occurrence analysis based on keywords, and citation analysis involving authors, countries, sources, and institutions. The analysis’ results are presented in the "Findings" section, while the implications derived from the study are discussed in the "Conclusion and Evaluation" sections for readers' consideration.

Abstract
Konut yeri seçimi, arazi kullanımı ve ulaşım sistemleriyle önemli ölçüde etkileşime giren karmaşık bir karar verme sürecidir. Söz konusu karmaşık yapı zengin multidisipliner bir bilgi birikimi oluşumunun önünü açmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın temel amacı; kent ve ulaşım planlamasından davranış bilimlerine, ekonomiden çevreye geniş bir perspektifte yayılım gösteren “konut yer seçimi” konusuna ilişkin alan yazının, ülke, yazar, yayın, atıf gibi temel kriterler baz alınarak gerçekleştirilecek bibliyografik analiz aracılığıyla haritalanarak araştırmacılara rehberlik edecek referans bir belgenin oluşturulmasıdır.
Çalışma kapsamında “Web of Science Core Collection” veri tabanı üzerinde “konut yeri seçimi” anahtar kelimeleriyle yapılan taramada 320 yayına erişilmiştir. Yayınlara ilişkin temel tanımlayıcı analizler (tür, yıllara göre dağılım, araştırma alanları, mikro ve mezo ölçekte konu başlıkları, ülkelere göre dağılım) aynı veri tabanı aracılığı ile gerçekleştirilirken; yayınların bibliyometrik analizinde, bibliyometrik ağların oluşturulması ve görselleştirilmesi amaçlı olarak VOSviewer yazılımı kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın temelini oluşturan bu aşamada VOSviewer ile yapılan analizler; ortak yazarlık, atıf ve birlikte meydana gelme/görülme olmak üzere üç kısımda toplanmaktadır. Ortak yazarlık analizi yazarlar, birlikte meydana gelme analizi anahtar kelimeler baz alınarak gerçekleştirilirken, atıf analizi yazar, ülke, kaynak ve kurum olmak üzere dört farklı analizden oluşmaktadır. Analiz sonuçları “Bulgular”, çalışma sonucu elde edilen çıkarımlar “Sonuç ve Değerlendirme” bölümlerinde okuyucularla paylaşılmaktadır.
