As it is known, every science has its own sources. If someone wants to make a scientific research in a certain field, he must refer to the basic sources of that field. It is not possible to reach a sound conclusion without using these sources. Therefore, every researcher has to establish his arguments on those basic sources. When it comes to the studies on Ottoman civilization and institutions, it is almost impossible to make studies without referring to the main sources of this field. So, in this article, information has been given about some written sources of the Ottoman institutions.
