The book titled Siyasat-nama which had been written by Nizam al-Mulk,
the famous Saljukian vizier, was edited and published on different
copies many times upto now and translated into various languages.
Within the historical process of the publishing traced back to Charles
Schefer, two men are especially worth-noting: Hubert Darke and Mehmet
Altay Köymen. This article examines, at first, chronologically the
process of publishing the Siyasat-nama and the characteristics of
different copies, and lastly attempts to compare the copies of two
scholars mentioned above.
