Hiperreninemik hipertansiyon, yüksek reninli esansiyel hipertansiyon ile benzer bir biyokimyasal profil gösterirse de, sekonder hipertansiyona yol açan bir grup hastalığı ifade eder. Bu yazıda anormal kaptopril renografi ve anormal renal ven renin örneklemesine rağmen renal arter angiografisi normal bulunan hiperreninemik hipertansiyonlu bir olgu sunuldu. Ayırıcı tanıda bu testleri değerlendirmedeki güçlükler tartışıldı.
