FIBER BRAGG GRATING BASED FIBER-OPTIC TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT SYSTEM FOR THE HIGH VOLTAGE CABLE

Abstract

The Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) sensor is used to detect the temperature of the high voltage cable.
The temperature measurement system is constructed and the functions of each part of the system is
stated in detail. This temperature measurement systems presented in this paper is usefull for the
operation of the power cable.
