In this study, the Syrian status in terms of citizenship law in the temporary protection status in Turkey will be discussed. In our work, we will first briefly examine the concepts of refugee, temporary asylum seekers within the framework of the Turkish Foreigners and International Protection Law. Politics of obtaining citizenship after citizenship law are determined entirely by the political, sociological and economic interests of States. This reality is no different anywhere in the world in the historical process. In this context, social, referring to the fact that the political dimension of Syrians in Turkey, the future will focus on whether these people should not give Turkish citizenship.
Bu çalışmada Türkiye’de geçici koruma statüsünde bulunan Suriyelilerin vatandaşlık hukuku bakımından durumları incelenecektir. Çalışmamızda öncelikle çok kısa bir şekilde Yabancılar ve Uluslararası Koruma Kanunu çerçevesinde mülteci kavramı, geçici sığınmacı kavramları incelenecektir. Vatandaşlık hukukunda sonradan vatandaşlığa alma politikaları, tamamıyla Devletlerin siyasi, sosyolojik ve ekonomik çıkarlarına göre belirlenir. Bu gerçek tarihsel süreç içerisinde dünyanın hiçbir yerinde farklı değildir. Bu kapsamda sosyal, siyasi boyutlarıyla Türkiye’deki Suriyeli gerçeğine bakılarak, bu kişilere ilerde Türk vatandaşlığı vermenin gerekip gerekmeyeceği üzerinde durulacaktır.
