Imperialism implies political, cultural, economical and narrative dominance of one nation over the other(s). It bases on the removal of the rights of economic, political and legal presence of one nation. But, as it is in many other notion there is a broad confusion in the usage of imperialism as a tool of analysis. Since there is not a common shared description of imperialism there is a disruption of the meaning of it. In addition to this general confusion, there are some special problems in the imperialism literature in Turkish. These problems source from the shallow, conjectural and random usage of the term. In this article imperialism literature in Turkish is evaluated generally and the literature after 2000 is focused specially.
