Artificial Intelligence Policy

Our journal acknowledges that artificial intelligence (AI) technologies can be used only as supportive tools in scientific research and publication processes. Artificial intelligence cannot replace the scientific and ethical responsibilities of authors, editors, or reviewers. Transparency, accuracy, confidentiality, accountability, and adherence to the principles of research ethics are essential in the use of AI.

General Principles
• Artificial intelligence cannot be listed as an author.
• The use of artificial intelligence (for text, analysis, translation, language editing, visuals, etc.) must be properly disclosed.
• Content generated by artificial intelligence must be verified by the user, and ultimate responsibility rests with the researcher.
• Confidential, personal, or unpublished data must not be uploaded to artificial intelligence systems.
• The use of artificial intelligence must comply with research ethics, publication ethics, and data protection regulations.

Authors
Authors must disclose the artificial intelligence tools they use and the purposes for which they are used; verify the accuracy of the generated content; not list artificial intelligence as an author; and bear full responsibility for the scientific content of the article.

Reviewers
Reviewers should not upload articles and documents under review to artificial intelligence systems; they must protect confidentiality and base their evaluations on their own academic expertise. They should report any potential ethical violations to the editor.

Editors
Editors must make publication decisions in accordance with scientific quality and ethical principles; must not share confidential documents with AI systems; must evaluate AI usage statements; and must take action in accordance with COPE guidelines and journal policies when necessary.

AI Use Statement
If authors use artificial intelligence in their work, they must clearly state the name of the tool used, its version (if applicable), and the purpose of its use in the article.
