The aim of the journal is to contribute to the advancement of evidence-based nursing and health care services by publishing current and high-quality research. The journal has the mission of being a guide for practice, education, management, and policy development in the field of nursing. In accordance with its purpose, the journal publishes original studies in the field of nursing and other health disciplines that have not been previously published or submitted for publication. Systematic review/meta-analysis, qualitative and quantitative research, scale development, pilot research, case report and protocols developed for experimental research/systematic review are published in the journal.
The Journal of Current Nursing Research is an open access and online journal that publishes with double blind refereeing principles. Articles submitted to the journal in accordance with the scope and submission rules of the journal are sent to at least two referees who are experts in their field for evaluation. The editorial board members of the Journal of Current Nursing Research take the comments of the referees into consideration. The final decision on all articles submitted to the journal belongs to the editor-in-chief. The members of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Current Nursing Research adopt and undertake to comply with the ethical principles prepared by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) (https://publicationethics.org/), World Association of Medical Editors (WAME) and International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) (http://www.icmje.org/).
