Thisstudy is a development research that aims to find out how the results of thedevelopment of Student Worksheets problem-based to improve students'mathematical communication skills and self-efficacy. This research was startedfrom a preliminary study, Student Worksheets preparation, Student Worksheetsvalidation, initial field trials, and field trials. The subjects of this studywere students of class VIII D MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung in the 2015/2016 academicperiod. Research data were obtained through mathematical communication testsand self-efficacy scales. The effectiveness test was conducted to determine theeffect of Student Worksheets on mathematical communication skills and attitudeanalysis was carried out to determine the tendency of students' self-efficacy. Theresults of the preliminary study indicate the need to develop a StudentWorksheets problem-based. Preparation of Student Worksheets begins by preparinga Student Worksheets and all its components based on the Student Worksheetspreparation guidelines. The validation results show that the Student Worksheetshas met the standards for content, suitability and design. Field trial resultsshow that Student Worksheets is included in the good category. Field testresults show that The aspect of students' mathematical communication is quitegood because more than 75% of students have met the minimum completenesscriteria and Self-efficacy of students tends not yet to show changes.
