Abstract

Pseudococcidae familyası türlerine ilişkin oldukça fazla [Bodenheimer
(1953), Düzgünes (1982), Kaydan ve ark. (2001 ve 2004)] araştırma
yapılmıştır. Türkiye’de Pseudococcidae türleri sayıca fazla olmakla beraber
türlerin büyük bir çoğunluğu otsu bitkiler üzerinde zarar yapmaktadır.
Bugüne kadar çeşitli araştırıcılar tarafından yurdumuzda tespit edilen 50
Pseudococcidae türünün isimleri, sinonimleri, yayılışları ve konukçu bitkileri
ilk kez bu çalışma ile toplu olarak ele alınmıştır.
