COVID-19 pandemisi sırasında jinekolojik kanser olgularında cerrahi için seçim kriterleri

Abstract

COVID-19 pandemisi sırasında ulusal sağlık sisteminin imkân ve kabiliyetlerini temel olarak yeni tip corona virüs ile ilişkili hastalık yüküne yönlendirmek en mantıklı yaklaşımdır. Ancak bu durumda teyit edilmiş jinekolojik kanser tanısı olan ya da jinekolojik kanser şüphesi bulunan hastaların yönetimiyle ilgili yeni stratejilerin geliştirilmesi gerekir. Kanser tanısı olan kimselerin COVID-19’a yakalanma riski kanser tanısı olmayanlara göre daha yüksektir ve kanser tanısı olan COVID-19 olgularındaki akıbet kötüdür. Bu nedenle, endemik alanlarda, kanser cerrahisinin ve adjuvan kemoterapinin bilinçli olarak ertelenmesi önerilmiştir. Bu derlemede, COVID-19 pandemisi sırasında jinekolojik kanser olgularında cerrahi seçim kriterleri tartışılmış ve pandemi süresince jinekolojik kanserlerin nasıl yönetilmesine ilişkin öneriler gözden geçirilmiştir. COVID-19 pandemisi sırasında kurumsal ve ulusal otoritelerinin koyacağı kurallar ve belirleyeceği stratejiler, jinekolojik kanserli olguların tedavilerinin bireyselleştirilmesinde belirleyici olacaktır.
