Earthquake parks which enhance the quality of life and ordinary cases,increase the welfare of society as well as gathering in emergency / shelterwill be used as parking areas are functional and designed to meet theirimmediate needs. So the planning of parks has a very important place forearthquake disaster management. When we look topography structure of Turkey,because of hosting the major fault lines, also deemed necessary the existinggreen areas (parks, recreational areas etc.) must be capable of converting theearthquake parking in case of a disaster and have adequate equipment for thissituation. In this study, emphasizing the importance of earthquake parks in theworld and in our country examined some available earthquakes parks and parkingissues must be considered in the earthquake planning were investigated.
